We really wanted Bradley Chubb and are thrilled to make him a Denver Bronco.
Bradley's the best defensive player in the draft. He can rush the passer, is a hard worker and will be a great fit, complementing Von, Shane & Shaq! pic.twitter.com/pEHS4kmyG2

Who Is The Top Five On Your 2018 Draft Board For The Broncos?
There’s been plenty of talk on who the Broncos should target with the 5th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Thus, I thought it would be prudent to set up a simple poll to gain insight on what direction the Broncos fanbase wants the team to go toward. Barring something unusual like an early trade, I plan to leave this open through Wednesday, and then will parse the results in articles for Thursday.
To make the data parsing easier, please try to use the full name of the player, spelled correctly. (For one obvious example, it’s “Quenton”, not “Quentin” or “Quinton”.) You are also encouraged, but not required, to post your top five in the comments of this article.
Broncos Cut CJ Anderson
Broncos are releasing RB CJ Anderson per source.
— ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) April 16, 2018
The Broncos have released RB C.J. Anderson. He is coming off 1,007-yard season. He was scheduled to make $4.5 million this year. #9sports
— Mike Klis (@MikeKlis) April 16, 2018
The $4.5 million Anderson was due to make will be fully gained against the 2018 cap, as he has no dead money to speak of.

It’s generally believed that the modus operandi of John Elway is to fill as many immediate needs as possible in free agency, thus freeing up the Broncos to take a best player available approach to the draft. I do feel that Elway has pretty much accomplished the first goal, and that he’ll more or less stick to the second goal. However, I think it would be worth looking at where the Broncos’ roster could stand come the 2019 offseason. Come then, I could foresee many positions that, while not a need now, have a chance to be at that time. Continue reading What Could 2019 Tell Us About The Broncos’ 2018 NFL Draft?
