2018 Broncos UDFA Tracker

    • Laces Out

Looks like the tea leaves are saying they’re going to at least find out what they have in Kelly

      • ohiobronco

It’s good that they won’t dilute the reps by bringing in a 4th.

  • GrizzlyB
    • Tim

      That makes me happy

    • Nick

      Huzzah for many here!

    • RSH

At a minimum, Lindsay will be a great practice squad player his rookie season.

    • Sparks

One of my favorite ‘picks’ of the last 2 days.

  • Nick
    • Nick

Mase said on here that Austin Schlottman signed but I haven’t seen anything on Twitter yet.

    • Nick

Sounds like Lindsay knew he had a UDFA deal with Denver well in advance. That may be why the Broncos used a draft pick on David Williams instead.

  • Hank Mardukis

The Tasmanian Devil stays in Colorado. Love it. Kid is all heart.

    • BlackKnigh

Makes a day 3 much more fun and palatable! Let’s hope he makes the team and gets to carry the rock a bit this season.

    • Russ

The kid is making the team. Mark it dude.

  • Tim

Haven’t kept up but would love Hill if he is still there

  • Nick
  • Tim

    I want Skylar Phillips!

  • ElwayIsGod7
    • Yahmule

      It’s true!

      • ElwayIsGod7

Oh I am watching all 4 preseason games into the 4th quarter this year baby!

    • Nick

Someone made the mistake of confirming to Mike. Congrats!

  • Yahmule

FSU safety Trey Marshall to the Broncos. Misread it as Tray Matthews and got excited.

  • OnionKnight

Broncos have agreement with Auburn OLB Jeff Holland, per sources. Holland among biggest non-drafted surprises. #9sports— Mike Klis (@MikeKlis) April 28, 2018

  • pubkeeper

Philip Lindsey will make the roster.

    • John

      Jeff Holland probably will, too.

      • Nick

Even with Chubb there’s not much behind him and the three stalwart incumbents. I could definitely see Holland being the #5 edge rusher.

  • ElwayIsGod7
    • ElwayIsGod7

I mean if he makes it as a pass rush specialist and special teamed I’ll be pretty happy.

      • Broncos777

Looks like he’ll fit right in!

  • Yahmule

    Simmie Cobbs to the Bears.

    Holton Hill to the Vikes.

    Josh Adams to the Eagles.

    Poona Ford to the Seahawks.

  • Jeremy

Gotta be happy for Phillip Lindsay. Guy was born and raised in Denver and went to Denver South High School, CU, and now the Broncos. I’m sure this was a dream come true for him.

I wonder what other former Broncos there are that were that were born/grew up in Colorado and went to college in State.

    • Jeremy

Browsing through PFR, and so far Tyler Polumbus and Chris Brewer (RB from the 80’s) are the only ones I’ve found who were born in CO, went to HS & College in CO, and played for the Broncos.

      • Hank Mardukis

Too bad Nate Solder had to get drafted by the franchise that shall not be named.

      • G Mik

        Daniel Graham

        • Jeremy

Technically he was born in California.

          • colinski2

Bobby Anderson. And how about my old teammate, Jeff Knapple.

  • Nick
    • Yahmule

Senior season was a massive disappointment.

      • Jeremy

“Scouts have serious concerns about Lotulelei’s love of football and overall work ethic. He was slow and sloppy this season and his quickness suffered badly because of it. Teams looking to draft him will have to be leaning on his 2015 or 2016 tape because he was a reject in 2017. If he doesn’t commit himself to the work it takes to be a pro, he will have a hard time sticking around.”

“I was high on him before the year started but he was a major disappointment. He knew this was his year to play well and make money but he did nothing to get rid of all that excess weight and his tape wasn’t very good.” — AFC Director of College Scouting

        • Yahmule

He would have definitely been drafted if he came out after his junior season. Lottery ticket.

        • The Color Orange

Sounds like a job for Bill Kollar.

          • Maybe he can make him a Star. 😉

  • Yahmule
  • royalwithcheese

Let’s all just pretend they took Holland in the sixth and Lindsay in the seventh.

  • colinski2
    • RSH

There’s a little bit more girth for the offensive line.

      • Yahmule

This is a nice signing. He’s been hurt a lot, but he was their best lineman when healthy.

      • Nick

And Leon’s getting (the O-line) larger!

    • BlackKnigh

From this photo – it looks like he is playing RT. Is that where he played?

      • colinski2

        https://temple-news.com/former-temple-football-players-get-shot-at-nfl/

“- Both of Temple’s starting tackles signed with NFL teams. Leon Johnson, who started nine of 13 games at left tackle, signed with the Denver Broncos. Cole Boozer, who started every game at right tackle, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. -“

        • BlackKnigh

Thanks, colinski2! I like that “relentless effort, accountability and toughness” part. that could translate into the NFL.

      • colinski2

I’d guess his best chance is at OG, but only after considerable strength work.

    • Nick

Very unusual college career: he graduated from LSU in just 3 years, then played on both sides of the Iron Skillet rivalry.

  • MattR

To make room, Denver waived K Taylor Bertolet and DL Jhaustin Thomas
