BRADS NFL PICKS SUPER BOWL 52

BRADS NFL PICKS SUPER BOWL 52

Brads Picks was 0-2 last week and is 2-8 for the playoffs.
Last week:
New England 24, Jaguars 20 – Jags led 14-3 late in the second quarter and 20-10 early in the fourth but then they decided to play it safe and blew their shot at a Super Bowl appearance. They could have won the game if they’d kept the pedal to the metal.

Philadelphia 38, Vikings 7 – Vikings jumped out to a 7-0 lead but then the Eagles got the ball and kept the pedal to the metal. The interesting thing is how Eagles HC Doug Pederson turned QB Nick Foles loose. Foles, a journeyman QB (he started with the Eagles, then the Rams, then the Chiefs, then back to the Eagles) took over for starter Carson Wentz in December and has found his stride in the playoffs (he was 26 of 33 for 352 yards with 3 TDs and no INTs against a very good Vikings defense). Foles hasn’t committed a turnover in the playoffs and has an excellent QB rating of 122.

 SB 52 – 4:30 Mountain Time.
Philadelphia Eagles (15-3) vs New England Cheaters (15-3) – I’ll keep this short. I sure hope the Eagles win, partly because they’ve never won a Super Bowl but mostly because I hate the Cheatriots.
Eagles can do it. They have a very good defense, and DT Fletcher Cox is one of the best players in the game. If they can get to Brady and pound him, Brady will start to pout – he really doesn’t think that should be allowed.
But if the Eagles let the Cheaters nickle and dime and wear the Eagles defense down, it will be over before it’s over.
I’m picking the Eagles. I think Nick Foles will have a good game.
