Chiefs at Broncos: The 10 Things I Liked and the 10 Things I Didn’t

We witnessed a game where Brock Osweiler came in for the injured Peyton Manning. It was questionable to even let Manning play in the game, let alone three quarters. After four interceptions, Osweiler finally came in and led the team to two scores, and almost three. Before you start clamoring that Brock should be our starter, just remember that the Chief’s defense went into a prevent defense so the Broncos would burn time. Now on to one of the easiest lists I’ve made this year:

10 Things I Liked:

  1. Our defense held Kansas to 2 touchdowns
  2. Alex Smith had a 53.3 QBR
  3. Kansas was 4/16 on 3rd down conversion
  4. 18 rushing yards from Brock Osweiler on 3 scrambles
  5. 2/3 on offensive red-zone attempts
  6. 18 first downs – more than the Chief’s 13
  7. Defense batted down two passes
  8. We had 5 penalties for 55 yards (Chiefs had 11 for 102 yards)
  9. Our offense was 2/3 on 4th down conversions
  10. Held punt returns to 2.0 yards on average

10 Things I Didn’t Like:

  1. Multiple players playing injured
  2. KC dominated ball possession time
  3. Kansas started at mid-field on average from punt returns
  4. Offense was 3/14 on 3rd down conversions
  5. 5 interceptions on offense
  6. 6 punts
  7. Another game with 0 turnovers on defense
  8. Averaged 3.4 yards per play on offense
  9. 5 sacks allowed and 9 QB hits
  10. 6 plays on offense for a loss of yards

Bonus: Brock dodges attacks and throws for a Touchdown!
