Brads NFL Picks The Division Games 2016 – 2017

Brads NFL Picks   The Division Games   2016  –  2017

Brads Picks was 2-2  last week and is 160 – 98 – 2  on the season.  Here’s the good and ugly from last week:

the good:

Pittsburgh 30, Dolphins 12  –  It was 30-6 at the end of the third.  Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown each had two TDs.

Houston 27, Raiders 14  –  Raiders didn’t have QB Derek Carr, and Brock Osweiler had maybe his best game of the season – going 14-25-168 with one TD and no INTs.

 the ugly:

Green Bay 38, Giants 13  –  Aaron Rodgers was 25-40-362 with 4 TDs and 0 INTs.   One TD was a 42 yarder to Randall Cobb with six seconds left in the first half.

Seattle 26, Lions 6  –  Thomas Rawls ran for 161 yards and a TD on 27 carries and Russell Wilson was 23-30-234 and 2 TDs with no INTs.  Lions were never in this game.

this week:  the Saturday games:

at 2:35 MST;

Seattle (11-5-1) at Atlanta (11-5) –  Seattle 26, Falcons 24 in Week Six. Sqwacks scored  9 in the 4th (to none for the Falcons) to win the game.  Give the Falcons credit – after a game in Denver the week before, they had to fly all the way to Seaqwackville and almost pulled it out.
That was Week Six though.  Thomas Rawls is running very well for the Sqwacks and a good run game can keep a dome crowd quiet.  But I like Atlanta.

at 6:15 MST:

Houston (10-7) at New England (14-2) –  It was New England 27, Texans 0 in Week Three.  The Cheaters were down to their rookie QB Jacoby Brissett and they still shut out a previously unbeaten team.  Cheaters D leads the league in scoring defense with 15.6 points per game.  Tom the Cheater Brady has thrown 28 TDs and just 2 INTs this season.  Cheatriots win this one.

the sunday games:

at 2:40 MST:

Green Bay (11-6) at Dallas (13-3)  –  Cowboys 30, Green Bay 16 in Week Six – the Packers defense surrendered 191 rushing yards in that one. But the Packers defense has improved a lot since then, and Aaron Rodgers is red hot right now – 22 TDs and no INTs in his last 8 games.  4 TDs  in each of his last three games.  Still, the Packers lost WR Jordy Nelson last week (two broken ribs) and Rodgers is never at his best in domes (Packers lost at Atlanta in Week Eight 33 – 32.  Dallas had the week off and I wonder if young Dak Prescott can handle the pressure of his first playoff game.  I’m betting the Packers get off to a big lead and end the Cowboys Cinderella season.

at 6:20 MST:

Pittsburgh (12-5) at Kansas City (12-4)  –  This game was scheduled for 11:00 but was moved to the evening because of an ice storm set to hit earlier.
It was  Pittsburgh 43, Chiefs 14 in Week Four, and it wasn’t that close – the Chiefs scored a TD as time was running out.  I’ll bet on the Steelers and their ground game with Le’Veon Bell in the bad weather.
