Broncos at Colts: The 10 Things I Liked and the 10 Things I Didn’t

My previous article covers my thoughts on the game, so let’s get right to it:

10 Things I Liked:

  1. SS Omar Bolden’s 83-yard touchdown from kickoff return
  2. Manning had two TD’s
  3. SS TJ Ward had solo 10 tackles 2 assists
  4. ILB Danny Trevathan had 6 solo tackles with 13 assists
  5. Despite RB Frank Gore’s touchdown, we held him to 2.96 yards-per-carry
  6. We came back from a 17-0 deficit
  7. The Punting was pretty good, we kept Colts’ offense started under 30
  8. TE Owen Daniels!?
  9. We scored 24 points on offense. That’s our best this year.
  10. RE Malik Jackson terrorized the Colts’ offensive line all game

10 Things I Didn’t Like:

  1. Rough first half on both sides
  2. 35 rushing yards
  3. We gave up 365 total yards on defense
  4. 4 Defensive penalties in final 6 minutes
  5. Possession time of 21:21 compared to Colts’ 38:39
  6. Where was the holding call on Vernon Davis’ first possible catch as a Bronco?
  7. The Colt’s offense had 20 third downs, 12 of which they converted (60%)
  8. Worse, Colts’ offense had 75% red-zone efficiency (3/4)
  9. +2 Turnover differential won’t win games
  10. Talib

Bonus: SS David Bruton Jr. got wrecked by Colts’ punter Pat McAfee. Also, our first touchdown from a kickoff return this year.

Bonus #2: Activate OD’s tank mode.
