My previous article covers my thoughts on the game, so let’s get right to it:
10 Things I Liked:
- SS Omar Bolden’s 83-yard touchdown from kickoff return
- Manning had two TD’s
- SS TJ Ward had solo 10 tackles 2 assists
- ILB Danny Trevathan had 6 solo tackles with 13 assists
- Despite RB Frank Gore’s touchdown, we held him to 2.96 yards-per-carry
- We came back from a 17-0 deficit
- The Punting was pretty good, we kept Colts’ offense started under 30
- TE Owen Daniels!?
- We scored 24 points on offense. That’s our best this year.
- RE Malik Jackson terrorized the Colts’ offensive line all game
10 Things I Didn’t Like:
- Rough first half on both sides
- 35 rushing yards
- We gave up 365 total yards on defense
- 4 Defensive penalties in final 6 minutes
- Possession time of 21:21 compared to Colts’ 38:39
- Where was the holding call on Vernon Davis’ first possible catch as a Bronco?
- The Colt’s offense had 20 third downs, 12 of which they converted (60%)
- Worse, Colts’ offense had 75% red-zone efficiency (3/4)
- +2 Turnover differential won’t win games
- Talib
Bonus: SS David Bruton Jr. got wrecked by Colts’ punter Pat McAfee. Also, our first touchdown from a kickoff return this year.
Bonus #2: Activate OD’s tank mode.
