Packers at Broncos: The 10 Things I Liked and the 10 Things I Didn’t

Wow.  On both sides of the ball I was awe-struck.

10 Things I Liked:

  1. The offensive line has started to click these last two games
  2. WR Demaryius Thomas is started to look like his Pro Bowl self
  3. The play action worked, in large part due to a decent running game
  4. LG Evan Mathis is starting to show why he’s been in the Pro Bowl
  5. DE Derek Wolfe is devouring the run game
  6. 50 yards allowed passing
  7. 2.0 yards per pass allowed
  8. A safety, but it could’ve been much worse for the Packers
  9. 500 total offensive yards (yes, seriously)
  10. No sacks on Manning

10 Things I Didn’t Like:

  1. Defensive penalties
  2. Offensive interception
  3. No defensive turnovers
  4. RB Lacy gained an average of 4.3 yards per carry
  5. We still lack a red zone threat in the passing game (maybe Vernon Davis will fix this)
  6. We gave up 4 first downs on penalties
  7. LG Max Garcia didn’t fare well blocking the pass rush
  8. It shouldn’t have taken us this many games to score offensively in the first quarter
  9. Losing LT Ty Sambrailo for the season
  10. The Raiders have a winning season so far
