Coach Kubiak: • Anunike, Thompson had a full practice. • Sambrailo (shoulder) is day-to-day #MINvsDEN
— Denver Broncos (@Broncos) September 30, 2015
If you’ll recall, Sambrailo was holding his wrist late in the game against the Detroit Lions. If Sambrailo can’t go, Michael Schofield will likely get the start.
Sambrailo’s injury might explain why the Broncos added Anthony Johnson to the practice squad.
The good news is Juwan Thompson and Kenny Anunike were full participants in practice. Thompson should play Sunday, meaning the Broncos don’t have to call up Kapri Bibbs yet. We’ll find out how many snaps Anunike gets, and he’ll want to make the most of them with Sunday being the last week Derek Wolfe will serve his suspension.
I’ve seen nothing yet about Omar Bolden or Kayvon Webster, but with any luck, Bolden will be able to play. Webster might be held out, though, to ensure he gets back to full strength.
